Services
Individual AdultsI often work with those who identify as queer, particularly nonbinary /transgender folks and folks who describe themselves as emotionally intense and highly sensitive. My approach is warm, grounded, relational, and interactive. I honor your complexity and will hold all of your story with respect and deep care. I work in an integrative manner, meeting you where you are and considering your specific needs. We will compassionately tune into your inner wisdom, allowing you to move forward with greater connection to and deeper understanding of your body, your roots, who you are, and what you need and desire.

Individual TeensThe teen years can be challenging and many need a space that is just theirs to process and and explore their constantly changing and expanding inner and outer worlds. I support teens in exploring their identities and engaging healthily in social relationships. Many of the teens I work with experience gender dysphoria, self harm, suicidal ideation, anxiety, depression, and struggle to communicate their internal worlds to others. I bring in Art Therapy, Narrative, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) techniques.

Couples/PartnersMy approach to working with partners is both warm and directive. I will hold your stories and relationship with deep respect and offer an affirming and nonjudgmental therapy. All types and structures of relationships are welcome with me. In our therapy, we will collaborate together to identify the stuck places in your relationship and address them. We will draw on your individual and relationship strengths to build a personalized toolkit for improving communication and increasing closeness.

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate of Services: Under the 2021 No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services.
- Do you have health insurance? Do you wish to use it to receive compensation for services?
Axis Mundi Center for Mental Health does not bill or accept health insurance. However, your insurance plan may reimburse you for services received out-of-network. Our clinicians are happy to provide you with a superbill detailing the cost of your service, but cannot act on your behalf as your representative. - Make sure your provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your service.
Axis Mundi clinicians must provide you with the fee for services before therapy begins. Fees for services are different clinician to clinician depending on where they fall in the above-noted fee scale, and cannot be relied upon to account for issues like illness, emergency, scheduling conflicts, etc. The agency supports annual increases of fee relative to cost-of-living increases (within our fee scales noted above) in order to support the sustainability of our clinicians. - If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or send a text message to (415) 439-0518.
