Relationship Therapy

My Approach

“To truly love we must learn to mix various ingredients - care, affection, recognition, respect, commitment, and trust, as well as honest and open communication.”
― bell hooks

I work with families and partners looking for a therapist who is collaborative, warm, and direct. Queer, poly, and "non-traditional" folks are welcome and celebrated! I hold our therapeutic relationship with deep respect and care, making room for your story and your experiences without judgment.  The whole of you and your relationships are welcome with me.

I integrate attachment theory informed by my training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems Therapy for Couples and Families.

"Underneath all the distress, partners [& families] are asking each other: Can I count on you? Are you there for me? Will you respond to me when I need, when I call? Do I matter to you? Am I valued and accepted by you? Do you need me, rely on me?"
-Dr. Sue Johnson
